Painted Fountain

Cottage Craft, DIY

the blog:
And
My Angel Has a Name…
painted statue
I have enjoyed my recently painted
Garden statues
and was looking for an
Opportunity to paint my water fountain.
I used
Kilz Masonry – Waterproof white paint.
I hope this will hold up to the elements
And maintain the bright white finish.
I added a little bit of the Anne Sloan
Provence Chalk Paint to the Kilz
To create a light blue for the bowl of the
Fountain. I really like the look without water.
She seems to glow in the daytime and at
Night.
I am very, very pleased with the result. It is so much fun to take what you have and make it better.
Last week I shared with you a sweet
Little angel I found at my friend Maria’s store
I asked for name suggestions and several
Of you gave good options.
It was Kathryn’s suggestion of
Celia
The Garden Angel
That I chose.
She noted that I have shared with you
My great interest in Celia Thaxter,
Her writings and her gardens.
This just seemed the perfect fitting name
For my angel.
Glowing water fountains and garden angels….
I am loving the changes to my home and garden
this Summer!
