I am delighted to be a part of the “Chrismtas in the Country” Home Tour and Link Party 2014! I am one of over 40 decorated homes participating in this two week event from November 28th till December 12th.
Please visit Creative Country Mom’s to see all the new stops on the tour each day. There is also a Holiday themed link party for the event where everyone can add thier posts! So, come on in! I’ve been preparing for your visit!
The Joy of Christmas
Begins in knowing what truly matters. The true reason there is a Christmas…that Christ was born. I have great joy in knowing this and in celebrating His birth this season.
Joy in Making My Home Festive
In the kitchen I have kept the decor in shades of red, green, gold and white…farmhouse style with a French twist.
In the Dining Room
I have been so enjoying creating a winter wonderland look with blues and whites. I just received this area rug from Shaw Floors. I participated in a contest with several other bloggers…I love how this anchors the room’s decor.
In the Family Room
Red is the main color throughout the room. I enjoyed bringing down the Christmas decor and deciding just how everything will work together. The red Poinsettia garland on the fireplace was my inspiration for the color scheme.
In the Green Room
I love how this dresser turned out. I used Fusion paint to recreate this romantic French Provincial look…this inspiration led to the room’s Christmas theme…romantic Shabby Chic.
Nearly There…nearly ready….
I’ve decorated in the kitchen.
I’ve decorated the dining room.
I’ve decorated in the living room. What’s left is the tree! Dearest and the children decorate our tree each year. It’s a fun tradition and I’m looking forward to seeing how beautiful they will make it!
