Looking Back
It is fascinating to be able to look back and to see what we’ve accomplished in a year’s time. On this threshold of a new year, I’m having fun looking back at A Delightsome Life’s best posts of 2014. Today, I’m looking at the posts in Home Decor:
A Simple Little Chair
This sweet Farmhouse Kitchen Chair, a thrifty transformation has been quite popular over the year. I am quite fond of it. I use it every day and am thrilled that it has received such wonderful attention.
Spring Home Decor Ideas
Participating in home tours is a lot of fun! This tour featuring this bread dough filled with lavender was the second top viewed post.
The Perfect Step Stools
These two sweet step stools found at Decor Steals were perfect for the vintage cast iron bed in the blue guest bedroom – these perfect step stools were number 3.
Winter Color Palette
Last January I shared some of my favorite winter decor and the color palette from each vignette. This post was number four.
French Provincial Painted China Hutch
The new and newly painted china hutch in our dining room was number five – I’m thoroughly enjoying this beauty.
Winter Mantel
This year I transformed the living room mantel each season. I did, however keep three elements – the candlesticks, the monogram wreath and my lovely lady bust. I loved this neutral look. This post came in at number 6.
Fall Home Tour
Another Home Tour made the top ten! I loved decorating our home for the fall!
Winter White in a Guest Bedroom
The soft neutral colors in our blue guest bedroom came in at number 8.
Accent Chairs in the Dining Room
These wonderful chairs I found at the Habitat Restore and refinished came in at number 9.
Nesting Crates in the Kitchen
These Scarborough Herb Nesting crates from Decor Steals came in at number 10.
Looking back is a lot of fun and educational. I’ve learned where I’ve been and where I want to go for 2015. If you want to see more of the Home Decor posts I shared throughout the year you can click here. What was your favorite that you shared in 2014?
