Lovely Christmas Decor in the Guest Bedrooms.

Christmas decor in our homes make the rooms so enchanting, so delightful. I love adding a little touch here and there to our guest bedrooms. Especially now that they’re both redecorated – the French inspired pink guest bedroom and the Prairie Cottage style white bedroom.

The Prairie Style Guest Bedroom

This room is charming simply by its simplicity and by the textures of the accessories. I wanted to follow through with this in the Christmas decorations. I wanted to keep them simple with the addition of texture.

On the Guest Bed

Adding a small rustic garland on the bed was all that it needed to add Christmas charm. The simplicity of the greenery with the textured gold-burlap ribbon.

Simple Decor – Christmas ornaments and ribbons

We really don’t have to do much to add Christmas beauty and charm to our room’s decor. Simply adding ball ornaments and some ribbon here and there – the magic begins.

I simply added a few Christmas ball ornaments in this basket. I love how the old mirror reflects the charming portrait of the young lady in the guest bedroom.

Rustic Wreath

This double ring grapevine wreath is simple in it’s decor – the only accents are white Magnolia flowers with the burlap ribbon.

In the hanging baskets by the cedar closet I added a few more Christmas ball ornaments. Some are handmade with crocheted design – complementing the texture and decor in the Prairie Styled guest bedroom.

Romantic Decor  – Garlands, ornaments and ribbons

In the French inspired guest bedroom I added a garland to the bed. This time this one was a bit more romantic, more glittery and at the same time soft.

The Ornaments

The ornaments on the table are whimsical hearkening to a softer, gentler spirit.

Pale blush ornaments and gold ribbon add romance to this vignette on the side table in the guest bedroom.

These dried roses add romance to the room year-round. The addition of the soft colored Christmas balls add additional charm and romance to the decor

Charming Wreath

This charming wreath is made simply by the addition of a couple small ornaments and light, whimsical ribbon woven throughout.

I hope my guests enjoy their stay in these rooms; that they sense the charm of Christmas in these cozy, comfortable places. I want them to feel the magic in the air of Christmas as well as feel at home.
