Musings on a soft Sunday afternoon.
The air has been unusually chilly these past couple of days. I thoroughly enjoyed it yesterday when I did some necessary garden cleaning.
Several blooms are already past…
Whereas many of you are experiencing your first rose blooms, Peony blooms, Iris blooms and such, much of mine has passed.
Removing spent blooms.
When the blooms from the roses are spent and ready to be cleared away, I take some of them and place them in dishes. They’re beautiful to me – even then.
Impromptu bouquet
As I was cleaning, I was enchanted by the full heavy blooms of one of my David Austin roses…I just had to bring them indoors to create a few rose bouquets!
Sharing
I’m getting used to my new IPad Mini – just synced it today…Dearest helped – I thought I’d already taken care of it all. It is wonderful to have everything working together. When I made the rose bouquet I first shared on Instagram and Facebook...I’m getting used to it now.
Social Media
It seems to be a balancing act at times – spending time on these sites to encourage visits to my blog…there’s much to be learned and fortunately several Bloggers who are generous with their ideas and suggestions. Have you become active on the Social Medias? Which do you like the best?
As I await the rain….
I sit here and muse, surrounded by the fragrance of these gorgeous roses, the aroma of the delicious tea – a birthday gift to my daughter – Coconut, Ginger and Vanilla Green tea. It’s quite invigorating! Moments such as these pass to quickly – taking time to reflect, to enjoy the blessings of the day in fresh bouquets and spent blossoms.
I hope you have a blissful week!
