By the calendar, it is not quite officially summer. But, according to the flowers blooming and the steamy heat outside – it sure feels like summer. So, I decided to begin transforming my home to reflect the lighter, bluer feel of summer. I began in my dining room with this tabletop vignette.
Summer is…
I just LOVE this patina of the galvanized tray I got from OneKingsLane. They always have something wonderful on sale and at very affordable prices – I’ll have to compliment them as well. Each package I receive is so well wrapped and protected with the strongest bubble wrap! When I was expecting this tray to arrive there was some problem with the delivery. I contacted OneKingsLane and received such excellent customer service – they’ll have my recommendation and business for a long time to come. I do receive compensation if my readers join OneKingsLane – you can too. See the link on my sidebar.
From my tabletop vignette, I began to think…Summer is… and I found objects to place here and there to represent some of what summer is to me.

summer always is…capturing the moment with my camera. From the beginning of my blogging experience, I used a Kodak point and shoot. Today, I have a new toy a Canon Rebel T3i. This is my first post playing with my new camera.

summer means…time with family. The three tallest are mine and the other two my nephew and neice, many, many years ago. I adore this photo of them all.
What does Summer mean to you?
