Last week as I was grocery shopping I stopped by my favorite Goodwill and the Habitat for Humanity store. I was really in a hurry so I scurried through both and nearly missed these two sweet items in the Habitat store. I overheard one of the volunteers talking about a separate scale and noting that one had just arrived today.
I saw the scale and marvelled that I had just walked past it! It was priced at $8 and I knew it was a bargain!
The top has a tile painted with roses – the body is beautifully rusty! Love it!
Then I made a more careful search on the counter top nearby and found this rosy teacup priced at only $5! Made for each other!
They are now placed on the hutch next to my desk in the kitchen. I love their rosy sweetness and they bring a smile each time I see them. To think, I almost missed them!!
