On Saturday, my friend hosted a Garden Party at her home. She asked that I help, my contributions were minimal because of my extra work hours- she and her husband outdid themselves in creating a lovely atmosphere where 16 women enjoyed each other’s company, exchanged plants and enjoyed a wonderful potluck luncheon. The weather was overcast and mild – the day couldn’t have been more perfect. I have so many pictures to share – I will let them tell the story.
As we came up to the party – a screen door was set with wagon, shelf and wheel barrow to place the plants for exchange.
The door pocket on the screen is filled with flowers from my garden.
On the other side of the screen is a beautiful bistro set – she had stands filled with pans and flowers on the tables.
On the inside is this marvelous table built by my friend’s husband – made from reclaimed floor boards. The beautiful blue bottle chandelier is actually wired to light up.

My friend had these lovely butterflies on a few chairs – whoever sat there received a gift
surrounding the tented area, my friend’s garden was beautifully beautifully in full bloom
seating was plentiful – in and outside of the tent

the soothing sound of the fountains made this area a lovely retreat.
We had quite a lovely time sharing with one another. I believe we’d gladly get together more often and perhaps create a Garden Club and/or newsletter featuring garden tips, ideas and more plants to exchange.
