When you come into our home, you generally come through the dining room. The first thing you see is our dining table.
I began by choosing this bright yellow tablecloth – to compliment the forsythia and daffodil blooms gracing my garden and arrangements throughout the house.
I’ve seen these several times over and have been looking foreward to making my own. I used these lovely spring green napkins with bamboo lattice. I used my new Durathon iron – review here – to press the tablecloth and the folds to the napkins. Such fun. I also used this tutorial to make the napkins.
Make me think of spring. So I began by layering each setting with my Martha Stewart green-edged plates. Atop each plate I added my floral Homer Laughlin plates. I set my Bunny napkin among the flowers in the top right of the plate.
I recently found these bunnies at my friend Maria’s store, Rooms U Love. I love their sweet, serene appearance. Between the bunnies I placed an apothecary jar with dried roses and moss stones. More stones were added around the bunnies and a few swags of silk spring flowers.

I love how it fits, I love the lace curtain – especially in the morning as the sunlight creates beautiful lacy shadows […]
One of my greatest delights is to have inherited pieces of furniture or ephemera. From my Mother I received three chairs that belonged to my Great-Grandparents. I believe this chair was made by my Great-Grandfather. There is evidence that this chair was hand-made and that the chair cushions had been redone over the years. The […]
