It is cold and rainy today in Central Georgia, but in my kitchen, these Cherry Blossoms are making it quite cheery.

I took a few branches and divided them amongst two vintage buckets I have. Love their patina. I placed these buckets in the corner of my kitchen.

I had to cut some of the smaller branches and not wanting to lose a single bud or blossom, I placed them in small vases, a tall wine glass and teacups.

In this corner, the soft color and texture of the Cherry Blossoms are contrasted with the white dishes, the wrought iron, the burlap coffee bags and the yellow of the kitchen.

I know my youngest daughter will want some of these branches to bring back with her.

I love seeing the sweet Cherry Blossoms on the trees – they seem to be a soft white cloud carefully balanced atop the trees.
