My dear friends will be sharing their amazing Elm Street Gardens and the Imperial Mushroom business next month.
The Curreys own the beautifully restored Harley Harris Rives House.
and have lovingly labored for several years to establish their organic farm –
Elm Street Gardens.
as well as the Sparta Imperial Mushrooms located next door.
You will be able to tour their hoop houses…
See their beautiful chickens –
You’ll also be able to learn about beekeeping…
As well as see Robert Currey’s amazing collection of
Ladderback chairs.
The tour will benefit the Oconee Area Citizen Advocacy. This is their third annual, “Not Your Mama’s Garden Tour” that will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Not only will you be able to explore Elm Street Gardens, the Sparta Imperial Mushrooms but you can also tour the Hancock County courthouse.
Tickets are $15 and on sale now at the Citizen Advocacy office located at 118 North Wayne Street in downtown Milledgeville across from ACE Hardware or by calling (478) 452—6968. Tickets will also be available on-site (15 Elm Street) the day of the tour.
