Azaleas and Tea
We are having near perfect weather this week.
I just have to spend as much time as possible outdoors.
The azaleas are at their peak – full and glorious.
I love using draping and flowing branches in
flower arrangements.
I have a few painted cookies left over,
they’re just the right size for a light teatime.
I decided to complement the garden’s flowers
by using my Farberware English Garden stoneware teacup
and saucer with my Kent Pottery Botanical teapot.
I keep some of my tea bags in this April Cornell silver tin.
I am a great fan of April Cornell. She has a gorgeous collection
of items available this spring.
Flowing flowers, a balmy spring day, floral teacups
a perfect English Cottage tea setting.
I can allow my imagination to glide along to
English country gardens, to English country homes.
Even thought this is a winter scene – this cottage fills my imagination. from the movie ‘The Holiday’ |
No wonder, the March Victoria magazines celebrate
all the beautiful aspects of English life.

This flower arrangement will be placed before our
Living room fireplace once I am done.
I hope you have just as beautiful of a day today.
