Heavy rain nearly day after day in Georgia has caused our garden to become saturated. Here’s a story in photos.

this is a new Dahlia to my garden – I purchased this and the pink Lily at the Southeastern Flower Show

one of the blooms from the new Queen Elizabeth rose bush – a Mother’s Day gift from my daughter and her husband
We’re expecting more rain today and in the next few days. Late last night I heard cats fighting and went outside to see who might be bothering my kitties. As I walked out I looked to my right and found a surprise – a hole. We had been told there was a well there at one time – this house is nearly 100 years old and it could have belonged to this house or to the one next door. It is about 16 ft in diameter and 4 to 5 feet deep. Well. I’ll share more later.
