Before going on my short holiday, I did a deep clean throughout the house. I even cleaned a few closets and drawers…you just never know! One of my favorite things to do while cleaning is to bring summer’s beautifully fragrant flowers into each room.
In the dining room, I placed two shallow bowls with magnolias – one is the first picture. On a side table I placed three Gardenias.
In the living room, I placed more Magnolias on the old chest and on the desk.
In the hallway upstairs I placed another Magnolia.
In our bedroom, I placed the romantic Gardenias.
In the bathroom, I love the clean fragrance of the Magnolia.
And on my desk in the kitchen, next to my laptop….I placed these lovely gardenias. A clean house, the beautiful fragrance of summer throughout – these are simple joys.
