The garden is quite expressive this time of the year. 

One of my favorite places is on our front porch by the La Marne rose where I enjoy tea by the roses.

This old rose has probably been with this house for decades and it gives of itself beautifully from now until November.

Even though I have quite a lot to do today,

I wanted to take a moment to enjoy a light tea. I love using my Homer Laughlin teacups. They seemed to compliment my dear roses wonderfully.

With all that I do, I know how important it is to take a moment –

to enjoy the moment – time flies by so very fast!

 

 

I’m rearranging the furniture on the front porch…

adding more – preparing the outdoor rooms for us to enjoy throughout the spring and summer.

 

It’s do so love creating spaces for us to enjoy our home and garden.

This light tea is quite refreshing and will get me through the tasks ahead.
