In my room I brought a bit of home with me – an electronic photo frame, teacup – with tea and flowers.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Haven last week. It was such a delight! One of the greatest parts of the event was meeting several Bloggers. Some of the most thrilling moments included the words….
I Know You!
Let me tell you, it truly touched my heart! I met several quite wonderful Bloggers and was able to enjoy their company and to learn more about them. When they recognized me by my blog’s name and said, ‘I know you!’ I was quite moved. I spent some time talking with Linda at Bushel & a Pickle and Rosemary at Not Just Paner and Paint – wonderful ladies. I sat beside another wonderful lady, Yvonne of Stone Gable and my ‘neighbor’ was Lauran at Mom Home Guide. These are just some of the very many ladies I had the opportunity to meet and to spend time with…I’ll share more very soon!
Jesus Knows Me.I bought flowers to put in my room – the fragrance was amazing!
At church Dearest sang the song, ‘Not Guilty’, within the lyrics is the phrase, ‘I know you’. Again, I was quite moved – even more so. Comprehending the idea that God and Christ now me moves me more than you can know.
‘I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.’ John 10:14-15
I’d love to be a cheerleader for this dear Cheerleader of Bloggers – KariAnne at Thistlewood Cottage. She is every bit as delightful as you may have imagined! She also does help bloggers grow their blogs – if you’re interested, I’d highly recommend her!
In all this world, no matter what we’re going through or what we have to do, an underlying fact remains – the God who created heaven and earth knows us and loves us. We have a glimpse of this incredible love here when we meet and are able to share with one another, but it is only a glimpse or a picture of what is ahead of us.
Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
I am so delighted to share with you all, and to have had the opportunity to meet and to get to ‘know’ you more. I am more excited that Jesus knows me and loves me! Do you know that too?
I stand accused
There’s a list a mile long
Of all my sins
Of everything that I’ve done wrong
I’m so ashamed
There’s nowhere left for me to hide
This is the day
I must answer for my life
My fate is in the Judge’s hands
But then He turns to me and says
I know you
I love you
I gave My life to save you
Love paid the price for mercy
My verdict not guilty
How can it be?
I can’t begin to comprehend
What kind of grace
Would take the place of all my sin?
I stand in awe
Now that I have been set free
And the tears well up as I look at that cross
‘Cause it should have been me
My fate was in the nail scarred hands
He stretched them out for me and said
I’m falling on my knees to thank You
With everything I am I’ll praise You
So grateful for the words I heard You say
