I had the opportunity to visit a couple thrift stores while taking care of a few errands. I was so very delighted by my finds.
As soon as I walked into the Habitat store I found this very large, romantic pitcher set on a table. Instantly I picked it up and carried it as I walked through the store.
You can’t really see all the lovely crazing, but you can see all the gorgeous roses and gilding decorating this dreamy pitcher.
I measured this beauty and she stands fourteen inches tall – I didn’t even trim the roses that I placed within them.
For now, She’ll reside on my desk – I already have rose filled items in the kitchen the scale and teacup I shared with you a while back. More thrifted finds. As well as my Rose Chintz china and Homer Laughlin rose teacups.
The roses are scattered all over this lovely pitcher – one spray on the opposite side.
The lip/spout and the handle of the pitcher are lovely. She is a beauty and she is a keeper. As I was making my purchases the sweet lady that works there said, “I just marked this down by half, it was $30. I think it was meant for you!” I think she is right – I am so grateful –
