What draws your attention? What appeals to your heart? In decorating, I am leaning more toward soothing, serene colors. I am always drawn to French Country and French Farmhouse style. Here are a few inspiring examples I found this week.

I started looking at Part II in Lynda’s From Farmhouse to French Country Kitchen renovation on Gates of Crystal. Then I looked at Part I. I love what she’s done and why.

After visiting France, Pat at French Country Style from the Foot of the Rockies, shared how she gradually transformed her garden with a French flair.

Deb at Seeking Lavender Lane shared how she transformed this wall with rustic shutters, a rustic shelf and this beautifully framed map of Paris. 

Kim at Savvy Southern Style has shared several posts on how she brings French style to her home – I love her painted furniture!

Anita at Cedar Hill Farm shares Three Simple Elements of Farmhouse French Style…she is also featured in the latest Country French Magazine and has written a book, French Accents! 

Kathleen at Faded Charm has a soft, French style to her decor…love the beachy accents here.
